As the seat of Hamilton County government, the City of Noblesville’s origins date back to the early 1800’s.  With approximately 45,000 residents, Noblesville offers a rich combination of residential, business, educational, and cultural opportunities.  In recent years, Noblesville has been named the tenth best community in America in the book Best Places To Raise Your Family by noted author Bert Sperling, was ranked in the top 100 of Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s fastest growing suburbs, was designated by former First Lady Laura Bush as a Preserve America Community (one of only ten in Indiana), was honored as the 2008 Indiana Community of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and was named by Family Circle magazine as one of the ten best towns in the United States for families.  

CNNMoney.com (A Service of CNN, Fortune & Money) singles out the communities in the United States that are the best places to live, most affordable, and have had the most job growth.  The City of Noblesville is featured as number ten on the Twenty-five Best Places for Affordable Homes.  In addition, Hamilton County is named as the eleventh best county in the country for job growth over the last eight years.  The two Hamilton County communities featured in that article are Noblesville and Westfield.
