Ambassadors

Assist members in promoting their business and interact with the community while assisting with membership retention and growth.

Work with the City of Noblesville to identify new businesses in the community

Act as mentors to new members during their first year of membership

Represent Chamber membership by attending ribbon cuttings and grand opening events

Serve as greeters and volunteer at Chamber events

Economic Development
Jerry Barr, Chairman | Pat Berghoff, Co-Chairman
Focus on business retention /expansion in Noblesville. Act as business advocate to government and other groups on behalf of the Chamber membership.

Establish regular peer group/industry roundtable meetings

Survey members electronically on economic issues

Participate in monthly Chamber member business visits

Work with Downtown Strategic Action Committee in implementing the Downtown Noblesville Strategic Development Plan

Coordinate annual Enterprise Awards event co-sponsored by the City

Provide information on resources to members for economic assistance and/or incentives

Finance and Budget
Jerry Deering, Chairman
Provide oversight for the Chamber’s financial activity. Protect Chamber assets.

Provide for annual review of books

Monitor investment of Chamber funds

Review all expenditures outside regular budget items and make recommendations to the board

Assist President in annual budget preparation
Government Relations
Pat Fox, Chairman | Geof Odle, Co-Chairman
Maintain working relationship with all local government entities to ensure that policies and laws encourage the growth and development critical to economic prosperity.

Serve as active contact point via designated committee members between Chamber and local government

Recommend board action on any local governmental issues

Participation in Hamilton County Legislative Task Force

Offer candidates’ forums when warranted

Distribute Common Council agendas and other pertinent information to committee members

Invite local elected officials to committee meetings on regular basis

Promote and attend Legislative Breakfast series

Promote and attend Chamber’s “State of the City”, "State of the Schools" and “State of the County” addresses

Member Services
Myron Glover, Chairman
Assist Chamber members in promoting their businesses and identify opportunities and new ways of providing value-added programs and services to members.

Evaluate member benefit programs and services through Affinity sub-committee

Develop Chamber University curriculum to promote workplace training seminars

Offer intervention and assistance to members who have been inactive for at least six months or members who are having a business challenge and would like assistance from a Business Action Committee resource

Promote events for members through member events sub-committee

Business After Hours, NetWORKS!, luncheons and other programming

Assist in planning and promotion of events through special events sub-committee

Taste of Business expo, Corporate Challenge and 2010 Anniversary activities

Recognize members for their contribution to the community through the Community Pride Award

Young Professionals Group
Lindsay Sweet, Chairman
Vision: To be the leading organization for attracting and retaining young professionals in the Noblesville metro area.
Mission: To discover, cultivate and help young professionals thrive by providing professional and leadership development, community and civic involvement, and social networking opportunities in the Noblesville are.

Plan and coordinate social networking events for young professionals seeking out referral based relationships

Identify opportunities to assist in professional development and education on issues facing our community

Provide a voice for young professionals concerning business, community and government issues

Identify community organizations and events in which young professionals can become involved
