  • Workshop A: CRUCIAL CONVERSATIONS, LISA HUDSON
Do you dread having those tough conversations with ‘difficult’ employees?  Would you rather eat chocolate covered ants than ask your boss for a raise?  Preparing for conversations that require negotiation and possible conflict can lead to anxiety for both participants.  In this workshop, we’ll introduce DISC communication and behavior styles, and explore techniques to reduce tension before, during and after your crucial conversations.  We’ll use listening exercises and role-playing to prepare you for future scenarios so you can stop dreading and start moving towards resolution.

Workshop B: BRANDING: YOUR PASSPORT TO CUSTOMER RECOGNITION, ELEMENT 212 Tammy Rimer
Do you see your Brand through the eyes of your customer? How does your consumer feel when they see your Brand and Logo?  Measure the value of your Brand by reviewing Brand consistency, Logo style, and message throughout all customer touch points.  Learn effective ways to gain customer feedback and utilize it to tailor your message.

Workshop C:  BUILD A BUSINESS PANEL:   MONICA PECK
PANELISTS:  REBECCA GILL, DENNY SMITH, DONNA LEHMAN, LAUREN LITTLEFIELD, KATHY YOUNG & SHANA TESNAR
Let our dream advisory counsel help translate the often intimidating process of starting a business into practical terms you can understand. Our Panel includes successful entrepreneurs, CPA's, investment advisors, marketing and legal experts. Knowing all your resources and options is a critical first step towards building and maintaining a successful business. Whether you stay awake worrying about cash flow, or you just started thinking about making your hobby a full time gig, this open and nonjudgmental panel of experts will answer your questions and demystify the language of business.

Workshop D: THE MINDFUL JOURNEY: LIVING & LEADING FROM THE SOUL, KIM PARKER
In a world where productivity, efficiency, and busyness are socially acceptable addictions, it is not surprising that, in recent years, mindfulness has become a sought after buzz word.  This experiential workshop will delve into what mindfulness is, its practices, recent neuroscience findings, and how we can discover a deeper more soul-filled way living and leading in the world.
