Mission: To serve as a catalyst for awareness and understanding of the strength of an inclusive multicultural community through education, resources, and empowerment for employers and employees
Role: to provide guidance, resources, training, and support to employers for the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
NEAT FOCUS AREAS
• Workplace: Adopting policies and practices that include and embrace people who have historically been absent/silent from organizations.
• Workforce: Concerted effort to recruit qualified employees from traditionally underrepresented groups.
• Marketplace: More deeply involve minority-owned enterprises and consumers in the regional economy.
• Community Collaboration: with educational institutions, government, civic organizations, and residents to advance understanding of DEI value, expand opportunities to all, and stem the tide of discrimination, racism, and marginalization.
